This particular custom light show was specially created for the Tesla Owners of Florida (TOFL) community event in Daytona Beach – a fun, holiday-themed spectacle.
- TeslaMas.fseq (the sequence file that controls the lights and movements)
- TeslaMas.mp3 (the audio track)
Adding it to your own Tesla is quick and easy. Follow these simple steps:
- Download the two files
Download the custom Daytona Beach light show files from the provided links (or wherever shared by TOFL). You’ll get a .fseq file and a matching audio file (usually .wav or .mp3), both named “lightshow”. - Prepare a USB drive
- Use a blank USB flash drive (any size works, even small ones).
- Format it to exFAT or FAT32 (on Windows: right-click the drive > Format; on Mac: use Disk Utility and select MS-DOS FAT).
- Important: The drive must not have a “TeslaCam” folder at the root level (use a separate drive from your dashcam/Sentry Mode USB to avoid issues).
- Create the LightShow folder
- On the root of the USB drive (not inside any other folder), create a new folder named exactly LightShow (capital L, capital S, no quotes or extra spaces).
- Add the files to the folder
- Copy both downloaded files (lightshow.fseq and lightshow.wav or lightshow.mp3) directly into the LightShow folder.
- Your USB structure should look like this:
USB Drive (root) └── LightShow ├── lightshow name.fseq └── lightshow name.mp3 (or .wav)
- Plug it into your Tesla
- Insert the USB drive into one of the front USB ports, USB-C ports, or the glovebox USB port.
- Wait a few seconds for the car to recognize it.
- Play the show
- Open the Toybox on your Tesla’s touchscreen.
- Select Light Show > Start The Show.
- If everything is set up correctly, you’ll see a “Custom Light Show” option. Select it and enjoy!
That’s it! You now have the Tesla Owners of Florida Daytona Beach light show ready to run anytime. It’s perfect for meetups, holidays, or just impressing friends. If you want to add more custom shows later, you can store multiple pairs of files in the same LightShow folder.
